Rehoboth Beach Yoga to host online yoga weekend Oct. 17-18

Rehoboth Beach Yoga will offer a weekend of online yoga opportunities from Svaroopa Vidya Ashram Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17 and 18.

Saturday's programs are free, but space is limited and registration is required.

Since Rehoboth Beach Yoga is sponsoring the paid programs Sunday, members of the community will receive a special discount off the regular registration cost. 

Yoga for Stress Relief is set for 9:30 to 11 a.m., Oct. 17. Participants will discover how easy it is to reduce stress with Svaroopa yoga, a user-friendly, slower-paced yoga practice. Every pose is customized to a person’s individual needs, making this practice both accessible and beneficial. Attendees will learn the difference between treating the symptoms of stress and reducing their stress level. 

Yoga Pain Clinic will be held from 2:30 to 5 p.m., Oct. 17.

This class is for those who live with pain and are looking for an alternative way to manage it. Svaroopa yoga can reduce and eliminate pain. Participants will be shown how yoga can help with aches and
pains. Attendees will learn what is going on from yoga's perspective and experience a few body‐friendly yoga poses. 

Satsang begins at 10 a.m., Oct. 18, with chanting and meditation led by Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati. She will offer a discourse on the principles of spiritual life and practice. Her teachings help people make sense out of their lives and open the doorway to deep meditation experiences. If attendees are new to meditation, she will teach them how to benefit from meditating with her and the whole group. Participants can enjoy this deep experience from the comfort of their own home, with fellow members of the community. Cape Region residents receive a $5 discount on registration. A formal welcome for the program will be offered, so registrants should plan to arrive a few minutes early.

Three hours of yoga poses plus an hour of chanting and meditation will be offered in a half-day program from 2 to 6 p.m., Oct. 18. Body, mind, heart and deeper – the bliss of consciousness is guaranteed. Anyone can attend. All content is user-friendly while being deeply effective and profoundly nourishing. Participants will join fellow members of the Rehoboth Beach Yoga community as Swami Samvidaananda guides them into bliss. Space is limited. Local participants will receive a $10 discount on registration. Those who register for the half-day program will receive a pass to attend the Sunday morning program for free.
