Rehoboth Cottage & Town Awards nominations open Sept. 4

Rehoboth Beach Main Street’s Cottage & Town Awards recognize residential and commercial property owners who contribute to the charm, beauty and history of Rehoboth Beach through architectural and landscape architectural renovation-restoration-preservation.

Nominations open Friday, Sept. 4, with an electronic submission deadline of Friday, Sept. 25. 

Details will be determined for an awards ceremony Saturday, Oct. 17.

There are four award categories: Residential Renovation-Restoration-Preservation; Residential New Construction; Commercial Renovation-Restoration-Preservation; and Landscape Architectural Renovation-Restoration-Preservation.

All construction must have been completed between July 1, 2019 and Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020. Property owners are not required to provide access to the interior of the property. Entries will be judged based on photos.

All nominations will be reviewed, and winners will be selected by the Rehoboth Beach Main Street Design Committee. Winners will be posted on the Rehoboth Beach Main Street website and related social media. 

Nominations require three to six images in digital format, and high resolution and quality. Acceptable formats are JPG or PDF. If files are too large to email, a drop box link may be submitted.

If submitting in multiple categories, entrants must provide separate entry forms, and photos must be provided for each category.

Winning submissions become the property of Rehoboth Beach Main Street. Entrants should not submit photographs they do not own or have permission to use. Upon submission, Rehoboth Beach Main Street has exclusive permission to use submitted photos for all forms of print and digital media purposes.

All entries must be sent electronically. An email confirmation will be sent once each entry has been received. Entries cannot be hand delivered or mailed.
