Rehoboth-Dewey Chamber holds ribbon-cutting for Stitch-Stash

November 16, 2018

The Rehoboth-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting Nov. 9 for Stitch-Stash

Patti Hoffmann, owner of Stitch-Stash, had a lifelong goal to open her own store.  After some search she found the perfect location in Rehoboth Beach: a spacious two-story stand-alone building with huge windows and hydrangeas out front. The shop carries hand-painted needlepoint canvases, over 4,000 threads, all needlepoint embellishments and a table for stitching and socializing.  “Having been in retail for so many years, I have learned the importance of making the space inviting and welcoming, as well as a focus on personal customer service,” said Patti.

Stitch-Stash is a full-service needlepoint store, including finishing.  “A big part of why I started to needlepoint was the social aspect. I have made so many wonderful friends and acquaintances, so swing by and say hello, I’d love to meet you,” she added.

Stitch-Stash, located at 102 North First St. in Rehoboth Beach, the former site of Monograms Unlimited, will be open all year long with an online store, www.stitch-stash.com
