Rehoboth Elementary School fourth- and fifth-graders competed in the school spelling bee Feb. 28.
To win first place, fourth-grader Ava Cox spelled the word “garrison” correctly.
Fifth-grader Roxanna Dalton placed second, and fifth-grader Katie Rossi placed third.
Cox moved on to compete in the state spelling bee.
