Rehoboth Elementary fourth- and fifth-grade students held their annual school spelling bee Feb. 8.
Nine students participated, and one was crowned school champion.
Nicholas Petito, a fourth-grade student, clinched the title with the correct spelling of Gallium. He will go on to represent Rehoboth Elementary and compete at the state Spelling Bee Saturday, March 7, at St. Mark’s High School in Wilmington.
