Rehoboth Mayor thanks tree committee

February 21, 2020

From the City of Rehoboth Beach and the Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Trees, thank you to all our donors in the first year of the Commemorative Tree Program.

For each donor, we installed a new leaf on the tree sculpture located in City Hall. If you haven’t yet seen the sculpture, please stop by and check out the 38 new leaves we added this year.

Through the contributions, we were able to help fund the planting of approximately 50 street trees including many on Rehoboth Avenue.

Every tree planted contributes to the character and beauty of our seaside community. After a successful first year, we are excited for the future of this unique program.
