Richard ‘Richie’ M. Bunting Jr., construction worker

Richard “Richie” M. Bunting Jr., 40, of Frankford passed away suddenly Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. He was born in Mississippi Dec. 16, 1977. He worked in the construction field.

Richie’s life was centered around his children. He loved attending their sporting events and spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Mary L. (Mitchell) Bunting; six children, Richard Bunting III, Casey Bunting, Seth Bunting, Bradley Bunting, Matthew Miller and Ava McKirby; his mother, Barbara (Clogg) Shupp and her husband Bradley of Chincoteague, Va.; his father, Richard M. Bunting Sr. and his wife Kenzel of Frankford; his sister, Angel Bunting Brittingham and her husband; paternal grandmother Betty Rogers of Frankford; and several nieces and nephews that he loved and cared for.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford, where friends and family may call after noon. Interment will follow at Dagsboro Redmens Cemetery in Dagsboro.
