Robert DeVenny passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, at home.
He graduated from Gallaudet College and worked for the Washington Post during his career.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank Falls DeVenny and Dorothy Elizabeth DeReiux DeVenny. He had five siblings who also predeceased him: Dorothy Jean, Frank Falls Jr., Iona Margaret, Hugh Edelen and Fred William.
He is survived by niece Dorothy "Libby" Marks and five great-nieces and -nephews, as well as 14 great-great-nieces and -nephews.
He will be buried in Charlotte, N.C. with his family. He has requested no service for his burial.
