Robert M. Becker, General Motors retiree
Robert M. Becker, 86, of Millsboro, formerly of New Brunswick, N.J., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.
Bob was born in Mount Carmel, Pa., Aug. 13, 1932, son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Parembo) Becker. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Bob worked as a foreman for General Motors at Delco Remey in New Brunswick, retiring in 1997 with over 40 years of service.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Donna F. (Doll) Becker; two sons, Mark Becker and Robert Becker, both of New Jersey; four grandchildren, Daniel and Emily Washburn of New Jersey, Daniel Becker of Colorado and Jacqueline Becker of Texas; a brother, Donald Becker of Edison, N.J.; and a sister, Catherine Moore of Philadelphia, Pa.
