Robert ‘Bobby’ W. Jones, locomotive engineer

Robert ‘Bobby’ W. Jones, 85, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021.

Bobby was born in New Jersey to the late Warren and Adeline (Katrensky) Jones.  He was a locomotive engineer for Conrail.  Robert was an avid outdoorsman, hiker and runner.  He also loved to play piano and dance with his granddaughters.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Bobby Jones; sisters, Gloria Banta and Arlene Edgar; and brothers, Warren Jones and Richard Jones.  

He is survived by his wife, Doris (Tocyloski) Jones; daughter, Jennifer Jones-Nagle; grandchildren, Samantha Zeitler and her husband Branden, Christy Nagle and her fiancé Jordan Phillipi, and Robby Nagle, who was named after his grandfather; great-grandchildren, Josh and Emma Zeitler; his loving caretaker, Amber Lee; eight sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial services will be private.
