Rose and Crown: An upscale pub with a British accent in historic Lewes

Rose and Crown’s winter specials are up and running with a large selection of traditional British pub cuisine guaranteed to stick to your ribs! Drop in to the Hotel Rodney at 142 Second Street to fly your Union Jack and tuck into favorites like the shepherd’s pie, the signature fish & chips and the Derby sirloin.

The 9-tap craft beer selection and the expertly curated wine list make for the perfect sips to go with the one-of-a-kind bites on the menu. Signature items at the Rose and Crown include the English pot roast, the country chicken pot pie, the portobello burger, the freshly roasted beet and apple salad, the pub Mac & cheese, and the Hasting scallop dinner with orange ginger glaze.

Must-get appetizers include R&C jumbo wings, spinach & artichoke crab dip and Rose & Crown’s signature English-style hummus. Rose & Crown’s off-season specials are the stuff of legend, and include fish & chips on Tuesdays, discount prime rib on Wednesdays, and discounted burgers on Thursdays.

Private dining space in the Hotel Rodney conference center accommodates up to 60 guests who can enjoy everything from business meetings to parties and celebrations. The restaurant is open daily from 11:30 a.m., with happy hour prices from 3 to 7 Monday through Friday.
