Rosemary Carroll, loved the outdoors

September 23, 2022

Rosemary Carroll, a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, peacefully passed Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family in her dream house on Haven Lake in Milford.

Originally from New Jersey, Delaware has been Rosemary’s home for the last 19 years. She was a lover of the outdoors, especially the water of her lakefront property which she cultivated with love and inexhaustible energy. She was able to create beauty in every corner, and when she ran out of space, she just created more land.

Rosemary was always able to make her friends and family feel special, selflessly sharing to ensure that those whom she loved had what they needed, or listening when it was just her support that was required to lift them up.

Rosemary’s natural ability to turn around her investment projects only opened more opportunities for her to support her family and passion projects. She was a dedicated craftsman, handywoman, gardener and landscape artist. Her other interests included being involved in AA for 24 years, a place where she and her beloved husband bonded over the joint passion for communing with others.

Rosemary will always be in the hearts of those still here: her spouse, Thomas Daniel Carroll; her children, Samantha Lee White and her husband Tony, Daniel Joseph Carroll and his wife Rachel, and Thomas Francis Carroll and his wife Jane; her stepchildren, Patty Reber and her husband Mark, and Debbie Rose and her husband Greg; her grandchildren, Cole, Kiernan, Coraline and Madelyn; and her step-grandchildren, Abby, Aiden, Chris, Carley and Connor.

Rosemary’s services will be private.

Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
