Run for the Paws to benefit Brandywine Valley SPCA Aug. 7

The 13th Annual Run for the Paws 5K will be back at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, in Dewey Beach, to benefit the Brandywine Valley SPCA.
The 5K run and one-mile pet-friendly walk will start on Dagsworthy Street and finish near the Dewey Beach Lions Club, where an after-party will follow, free for all participants. All proceeds go directly to help local shelter animals in need. For more information, and to register or make a donation, go to seashorestriders.com.
