Sandra Y. Ganski, human resource specialist

Sandra Y. Ganski, 74, of Lewes passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.  She was born Oct. 26, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late Charles and Rita (Grandelli) Castellano.

Ms. Ganski graduated from St. Maria Goretti Catholic High School in Philadelphia.  Following graduation, she built a respected career as a human resource specialist for the National Park Service.  Ms. Ganski had many, varied interests.  She enjoyed music and dancing, and never passed up an opportunity to socialize with friends.  Her home was an example of her talent as a decorator, and she found much joy in making it beautiful.  Above all, Ms. Ganski cherished time spent with those she held most dear.  She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Ms. Ganski is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Fosco (Peter);  her grandchildren: Julianna Fosco and Roman Fosco; her brother, Michael Castellano; her sister, Rosemary Pettinelli (John Sr.); her nephews:  John Pettinelli Jr., Santino Pettinelli, Bernadino Pettinelli and Vincenzo Pettinelli;  and her nieces: Maria Pettinelli, Monique Donofrio, Nicolette Donofrio and Gianna Donofrio.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
