Send a message to ‘swift boat realtors’

August 10, 2018

To paraphrase a famous quote, "lies can travel six times around Rehoboth Beach while the truth is still trying to put on its bathing suit."

There has recently been an anonymous letter written and circulated about city commissioner candidate Gary Glass, containing total misrepresentations and many downright lies about his stances on rentals, taxes, beach permits, tourism, the business district, and the so-called "mini-motels" in neighborhoods zoned residential.

Way back in 2005, The Washington Post first described the pre-election tactics of Rehoboth Beach's "Swift Boat Realtors." Over the years their fraudulent behavior has sporadically surfaced in phony, anonymous letters and postcards, malicious suits, weird staged behavior at public meetings, etc.

I think a bullet vote for Gary Glass Aug. 11 could send them a message.
