Shakespeare Festival London trip raffle to benefit Lewes library

August 31, 2019

In conjunction with its Shakespeare Festival, the Lewes Public Library is holding a raffle for a dream vacation of a week in a beautiful London apartment with $1,000 cash to spend.

The week’s stay at a London apartment is  donated by Lewes Gourmet and Puzzles owners Tim Southerst and Andrea Spuck. The prize also includes $1,000 spending money. Travel costs are excluded. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is located on the top floor in the historic Royal Arsenal complex with views of the Thames River and the Arsenal buildings. For a closer look at the apartment and its surroundings, go to HomeAway.com Property #444777.

Tickets may be purchased at the library and are $20 for one, three for $50, or seven for $100. The drawing of the winning ticket will take place Saturday, Sept. 21, after Brown Box Theatre’s production of Shakespeare’s “Measure for Measure” at the library.

All proceeds from the raffle benefit the Lewes Public Library’s many free programs and services.
