Exum Art: A Solo Show by Sheila Exum will be on display at CAMP Rehoboth from Saturday, Oct. 16, to Tuesday, Nov. 30.

A reception with the artist will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 12.

Exum is a professional artist who specializes in both realism and abstract works while depicting animals, architecture, portraits and landscapes in various mediums. Her love for art has always been a driving force behind her creative custom commissions and computer-aided designs. She challenges herself to experiment with new techniques and create timeless art pieces. Exum paints from her studio in Magnolia.

To support the community, Exum has donated art to the Make a Wish Foundation, the Christina School District and Delaware Rotary Club auctions. She also has volunteered as an art instructor for the University of Delaware Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Exum’s art has been displayed in Delaware and Maryland  galleries. It has been accepted into juried group exhibitions at CAMP Rehoboth, including the Women’s Fest Art Show and Voices That Have Yet To Be Heard, an exhibit held during Black History Month.

“CAMP Rehoboth is thrilled to feature Exum’s art in a solo exhibition,” said Leslie Sinclair, CAMP Rehoboth arts director. “You will be able to connect with her colorful and vibrant art.”

CAMP Rehoboth is at 37 Baltimore Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. To learn more or preview the art, go to camprehoboth.com.
