Sheila M. McCall, enjoyed cooking, baking

Sheila M. McCall, 78, of Lewes, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023.

Sheila was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Wilmington, to the late Theodore and Mary (Duncan) Ryan.

Sheila grew up in Holloway Terrace. She graduated DeLaWarr High School in the Class of 1963. She worked at the Old Landing Golf Course for 31 years, where she managed the pro shop and restaurant. Throughout her life, Sheila enjoyed cooking and baking. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. McCall; and her grandson, Dakota R. McCall. 

Sheila will be greatly missed by her three children, Mark W. McCall (Terri), Michelle L. Balance and Bryan K. McCall (Cindy Bradley); her six grandchildren, Clyde, Chelsea, Luke, Paige, Preston and Raymond; her three great-grandchildren; as well as her very dear friend and caregiver, Dee Parker.

Services and interment are private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Aveanna Hospice, 107 N.E. Front St., Ste. 107, Milford, DE 19963.
