March 19, 2019

To read during Black History Month, the Sisterhood Book Club selected “If Beale Street Could Talk,” by acclaimed author James Baldwin.

The book is considered one of Baldwin’s best novels. Barry Jenkins wrote and directed a 2018 film based on the novel.

The club invites the public to attend its discussion from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 22, at the Lewes Library. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call 302-228-8995.
