Skating Club to present ‘A Very Mary Poppins Holiday’ Dec. 7-8
The Centre Ice Rink at Delaware State Fair in Harrington will bring familiar characters to life on ice as Bay Country Figure Skating Club presents its holiday show, “A Very Mary Poppins Holiday,” at 6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7, and 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8.
Directed by the centre’s skating director, Jerry Santoferrara, and coach Tom Harrison, the show features an original story and is choreographed to a variety of familiar music. More than 50 local skaters of all ages and levels, including Bay County Figure Skating Club members as well as students and coaches from the rink’s skating programs, will perform. 1st State Ice Theatre’s Open Team also will perform their choreographic program, as they prepare for the National Theatre on Ice competition next summer.
