I so enjoyed A Christmas Story (capegazette.com/node/147270) by Kathy McGlade of Lewes in the Dec. 19 edition. What clever wordplay using both sacred and secular phrases and song lyrics! By the end, I had a huge smile on my face, especially the part about women being present to ensure that all was calm and all went well. I have always felt that way, myself. Merry Christmas to all.
