Solutions’ Sarah Rigot earns professional architect license

May 10, 2021

Solutions IPEM recently announced that Sarah Rigot has successfully completed the requirements to become an American Institute of Architects-registered, licensed professional architect. She set a personal goal for herself to take and pass each of the six sections of the exam in one year’s time, and she succeeded.

In addition to being LEED certified, Rigot holds a bachelor of science degree in interior architecture from the University of North Carolina and a master’s in architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

She is a member of the Young Professionals organization and is active with the chamber of commerce and American Builders Contractors. She also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity builds. In her spare time, she works on her home improvement projects, designing and constructing the renovations herself.

Rigot joined the IPEM architecture department in 2019 and has been involved with designs for the Grove and Friendship Creek townhomes and private residences, and clubhouse designs for River Run, Chase Oaks and Sycamore Chase as well as medical office designs for Bayhealth and private clients.

Solutions IPEM is a full-service architectural, land planning, civil engineering and surveying firm headquartered in Georgetown with an office in Salisbury, Md.
