South end of Rehoboth’s Boardwalk in 1957

September 29, 2020

Rehoboth Beach resident Gary Myers sent through an old photograph recently from his family archives. It shows the south end of Rehoboth’s Boardwalk in 1957. The photographer was standing on the concrete apron of the Boardwalk near the end of Rehoboth Avenue where it converts to actual boards. Many of the Boardwalk businesses shown here were destroyed in the March storm of 1962.
