Speakers named for Photo Beach Bash March 24 in Rehoboth

The Coastal Camera Club announced an impressive list of nationally renowned photographers to speak at its Photo Beach Bash Sunday, March 24, at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center, 101 N. Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach. Doors open at 8 a.m.

Attendees will explore and expand their photographic horizons, learn tips and techniques of the pros, and imagine how they can take their images beyond the ordinary. These photographers will have something for everybody from the novice to the expert.

The presenters and their topics are: Rad Drew, A New Frontier: Creating Extra Ordinary Images with your Mobile Phone; Derek “Chase” Fahsbender, The Art of the Street Portrait; Jay Fleming, Nautical Chesapeake Photography; and keynote speaker Joe Brady, Producing Images With Impact.

There also will be exhibitors of photographic equipment, a raffle and door prizes, a flea market, image critiques and other related activities.

Tickets are $25 per person until Thursday, Feb. 28, and $30 thereafter.

Two workshops will be presented Saturday, March 23, at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center. Joe Brady will lead Get Prints That Match Your Monitor from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tickets are $49. Rad Drew will lead Creative Imagery With Your Mobile Phone from 1 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $60 for that workshop.
