Starboard ready for summer with entertainment lineup

June 4, 2021

Dewey Beach is coming back to life this summer, and the Starboard stands ready with a great live entertainment lineup.

While it may not be full-on shoulder-to-shoulder style quite yet, Steve “Monty” Montgomery and his staff are eager to restore normalcy with their summer vibes and a solid schedule.

Montgomery said, “We are bringing back a lot of our favorite events and evenings, like comedy nights, all our bands, and even the Running of the Bull, which is now moved to August when we anticipate things may be more normal.”

Mainstays like Kristen and the Noise, Lost in Paris, Bryen Oboyle and Johnny Phatt will all be back in steady rotation this summer. Also back are G. Love, Thursday, July 29; Bruce in the USA, Sunday, Aug. 1, and Saturday, Oct. 9; and the Amish Outlaws, Sunday, Aug. 22, and Friday, Nov. 5. Comedy nights are back with a barrel of laughs beginning Tuesday, June 15.

As always, the Starboard provides this amazing entertainment for free, as part of its feel-good, summer vibe philosophy.

In addition to Running of the Bull, annual events like the Stache Crawl and Dewey Goes Pink are all on the schedule. In preparation for a responsible summer, the parking lot has been converted into an outdoor space. Masking and social distance practices are in place because partying responsibly has always been in style at the Starboard. To check out the Starboard’s official schedule, go to www.thestarboard.com.
