Sunsets concert to be held Sept. 21 at Rehoboth library

September 19, 2018

The Rehoboth Beach Public Library’s new Sunsets concert series will welcome local favorites Freshly Squeezed at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 21. The band will perform a special acoustic set as a pared-down trio from their usual four-person lineup.

Weather permitting, Freshly Squeezed will perform on the library’s upstairs balcony overlooking Rehoboth Avenue, complete with an assortment of beverages and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of nearby Grub Grocery. While sunsets come earlier on autumn nights, attendees can still look forward to an evening under the stars, with a great view of lamp-lit Rehoboth Avenue after dark.

The Sunsets live music series is supported by Friends of the Rehoboth Beach Public Library and generous donations from library patrons; suggested donation is $5-$10 but there is no requirement.

The final Sunsets session of the season will be held Friday, Oct. 19, when Bryan Scar and the Barn Owls will bring their folk-county sound for a special harvest-themed performance.

For details on the series or to find out how to participate as a performer, contact Tyler Antoine at tyler.antoine@lib.de.us, or call the library at 302-227-8044.
