Sussex Central Drama Club to present comedy show May 15
Take Two Drama Club of Sussex Central High School will present "You’re Not Ready: The 2019 Comedy Club,” an original sketch comedy and improv show completely written by students and directed by SCHS seniors Braeden Swain and Ariana Novak.
The show will be presented at 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, at the Centre for Visual and Performing Arts. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for seniors, students and military. Concessions will be available at separate cost. Patrons can pay at the door, which opens at 6 p.m.
“The show is for mature audiences ages 13 and over and covers topical issues affecting us all in this crazy time – social media, political upheaval and even the bubonic plague in Mongolia,” said Take Two advisor David Warick, who invites the public to enjoy the original humor his talented students have created.
The Take Two Drama Club is an independent, nonprofit organization which supports the production of plays and musicals for Sussex Central High School students and surrounding communities. All ticket proceeds go into production of future shows and supporting Sussex Central students in studying and creating theatre.
