Sussex Consortium partners with Lewes Public Library

January 9, 2020

Each year the Sussex Consortium adds more community partners to its vocational program to give students real-life experiences outside the classroom setting.

This year, three students are working at the Lewes Public Library, adding it to the growing list of partnerships.

During their time at the library, students assist with storytime and arts and crafts, and also help with book organizing and general tidying tasks.

“The library reached out to the Sussex Consortium for this opportunity because we support the mission of the Consortium and what they are trying to accomplish with the students,” said Library Director Lea Rosell. “We are very excited to have the students helping with the new library.”
