To provide enhanced interactive learning opportunities for students, Sussex Technical High School recently added an Anatomage Table to its health services educational equipment. The state-of-the-art platform offers digitized human cadavers and realistic 3D anatomy experiences.
Through the technology, students can examine a variety of digital cadavers and explore intricate human structures, including vascular systems, organs, tissues and other body systems. The table also allows students to view annotated structures and engage with realistic tissue simulations.
“I am very excited to incorporate the Anatomage Table into my physical therapy-athletic healthcare technology curriculum across all grade levels to enhance the students’ opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology in a fun, interactive manner," said Carolyn Maull, Sussex Tech teacher. "Students are already using the table and becoming familiar with the numerous components, and learning at the same time.”
Sussex Tech students enrolled in health services career classes will have access to the Anatomage Table as part of their coursework. The technology will support students as they develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to pursue careers and further education in healthcare.
Sussex Technical High School is a vocational public school that prepares Sussex County students for their future success in workforce environments, higher education and the military.
