Sussex Tech hockey defeats Sussex Academy 2-0

The Sussex Tech Ravens took down the visiting Sussex Academy Seahawks 2-0 Oct.1 in Georgetown.
Tech sophomore Remi Devine took a pass from Jade Powell and hit the back of the cage for the first goal of the game at 19:12. Powell scored unassisted at 27:10 of the second half.
Each team took nine shots and had six penalty corners in the contest.
Sussex Tech goalie Kayla Brady made six saves, while Seahawks keeper Lilly McAroy stopped 11 Ravens scoring attempts.
The Ravens were set to host Sussex Central Thursday, Oct. 3, while the Seahawks hosted Indian River.
