Sussex Technical High School held a Veterans Day Assembly Nov. 8. Students invited veterans and their families to the event to honor them and thank them for their service. The keynote speaker was Larence Kirby, executive director for the Delaware Commission of Veterans Affairs.

The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.
