Sussex Tech school board recognizes 2019 Teacher of the Year

The Sussex Tech school board recognized its 2019 Teacher of the Year Anthony Natoli at its Oct. 15 meeting.
Natoli, 28, of Lewes, has taught English and drama at Sussex Tech for seven years, and also coaches the junior varsity baseball team.
“I’m proud to be here. I’ve been here since my career started, and I hope to be here for a very long time to come,” Natoli told school board members. “I will do my best each and every day.”
Natoli said he is excited to work with Delaware’s school district teachers of the year. He said they will be educational ambassadors, holding college town halls to reach Delaware’s rising educators.
“It’s a phenomenal opportunity to network and work together,” he said. “I’m very excited.”
