The fourth annual Taste of Sposato 5K attracted 143 runners to Sposato Landscaping Sept. 28, with the proceeds going toward a Delaware Tech scholarship to support a local student majoring in agriculture.
Like the Mooo Run the week before, it’s a cool, low-key race where everyone knows your name and cheers when you finish.
Reginaldo Hernandez Gonsalez was the overall winner in 17:44. He was followed by Mike Marciano in 18:25, Mike Sewell in 19:07 and Bryan Mack in 19:33.
Cynthia Schaffer was the overall women’s winner in 19:37. She was followed by Melissa Katski-Berry in 21:23, Mardiny Ung in 22:49, Jen Perry in 24:02 and Karen Dawson in 24:18. A complete listing of expanded results can be found at www.seashorestriders.com.
