"Team Play Improv,” an all-new competitive improvisational comedy show, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 11, at Milton Theatre, 110 Union St., Milton. 

In a no-holds-barred comedy showdown and improvised throwdown, members of Delaware Comedy Theatre will play special guests Fearless Improv, based in Wilmington. The show features adult humor, language and themes.

The winner out of four rounds of completely improvised scenes judged by the audience will take home bragging rights and the coveted Krab Kup, an iconic prize of the Team Play Improv format.

“Best of all, both teams are donating their take of the house, after costs, to an amazing first responders' charity – the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, to honor the anniversary of 9/11 and give to an amazing organization," said David Warick, artistic director of Delaware Comedy Theatre. Concessions and bar drinks are available at the theater at a separate cost, before the show and during intermission.

Delaware Comedy Theatre is a nonprofit performing and educational organization presenting completely improvised comedy in the style of "Whose Line Is It Anyway" and Upright Citizens Brigade. Every show is unique and different according to the audience in attendance. This show is for adult audiences only, as mature humor is always a part of improvisational theater.
