Teller Wines Expo & Benefit to offer variety of auction items

The 2019 Teller Wines Expo & Benefit, slated for 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 30, will showcase delicious foods from eight local restaurants, over 100 premier wines from 13 distributors, 10 amazing live auction items and more than 60 silent auction items. This year’s beneficiary is the Rehoboth Beach Film Society.

Tina Samson, RBFS event chair, states “This year’s auction items offer a broad selection of entertainment opportunities which can be used for enjoyable outings with family and friends or romantic couple dates.”

A sneak peek at some of the entertainment items include a dinner with champagne for two at the Blue Moon followed by a performance at Clear Space Theater; a family lunch at Grotto Pizza and dessert at Fractured Prune; a tasting for two at Beach Time Distilling plus gourmet foods and Chardonnay for a party at the beach; a ferry trip to Cape May with snacks on board; a rainy day survival kit with fun time at Lefty’s Alley and Eats as well as games to play at home; a three-hour culinary adventure with Eating Rehoboth; two Coastal Concert season tickets; a mystery dinner for six; and so much more.

Two forms of entertainment that will not require bidding are music performances from the Rehoboth Concert Band’s woodwind quartet and the French horn quartet, starting at 1 p.m. during the Expo.

The Tellers Wine Expo & Benefit is a great opportunity to sample delicious foods and wines, bid on a wonderful assortment of goods and activities, and enjoy the company of good friends. Admission is a tax deductible $80 per person, which includes a take-home souvenir wine glass. The Expo takes place at the St. Jude Parish Life Center, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes.
