Theresa Ann Dalecki-Zimmer, kind, caring woman

Theresa Ann Dalecki-Zimmer, 60, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, after a prolonged illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1959, in Wilmington, daughter of the late Edwin and Ann (Singles) Dalecki.

Theresa studied early childhood development at Delaware Technical Community College. She worked as a dietary clerk at Wilmington General Hospital and as a research assistant at DuPont. Theresa dedicated her life to nurturing her family, pets and the children she sponsored around the world. Her kind and caring ways made it easy for her to make and continue lifelong friendships. Theresa’s additional passions included knitting, drawing, cooking, baking and reading on the beach.  She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Theresa is survived by her son, William Osienski of Charlotte, N.C.; her daughters: Tamara, Lara and Mollie Zimmer, all of Charlotte; and her brother, Kevin Dalecki and his wife Belynda and their children of Milton. In addition, she will be remembered by many extended family members and friends.
