Thomas Bell, native of England

Thomas Bell, 77, of Lewes, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at his residence after a brief illness. He was born Aug. 5, 1936, in Preston, Lancashire, England, son of the late Thomas and Esther (Hayton) Bell.

Mr. Bell is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Maria (Klumpner) Bell; two sons: Thomas Michael Bell and wife Sandra of S. Dartmouth, Mass.and John Malcolm Bell of Lakeville, Mass.; one daughter: Ann Maria Bell and husband William Sethares of Madison, Wisc.; two grandchildren: Heather Anne Bell of Marlboro, Mass. and Douglas Colin Bell of S. Dartmouth; one brother: Malcolm Bell of Sydney, Australia; one niece: Denise Bell and one nephew, David Bell both of Florida; and many cousins and extended family in Preston, England.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, at 3 p.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes.
