Thoughts on surf-fishing regs editorial

September 10, 2021

I recently subscribed to the Cape Gazette and read the opinion of your columnists. I wondered if you actually read the foolery you allow to print. I understand your position of exploiting a reasonable expectation for non-sporting people to abuse.

Why not allow your columnists to advocate more of what you want, instead of demonizing what you have?

Next, the same people will advocate against all fishing-designated beaches because of those pesky lines in the water their unattended children are getting snagged on. Maybe advocate an additional purchase of a specially marked hanging tag for non-sporting users? Just a thought.
