Three people face drug charges after a police conducted an investigation over several months into drug activity in Dagsboro.
Police executed a search warrant Feb. 25 at a home on Dagsboro Road where they found about 11 grams of cocaine, about 159 grams of marijuana, and about 18 grams of heroin with another 14 grams in 1,993 baggies, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police. Police also found $44,311 in suspected drug proceeds, four 12-gauge shotguns, one muzzle loader, one Colt .25-caliber handgun, and drug paraphernalia, she said.
Three people inside the home were taken into custody and charged. Antonio A. Drummond, 43, of Dagsboro was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in tier 3 quantity, five counts of felony possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in tier 2 quantity, felony second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $183,400 cash bond.
A boy, 17, was charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, felony second-degree conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a civil violation of marijuana possession. Cheryl Drummond, 59, of Dagsboro was charged with felony maintaining a drug property. Both were released on their own recognizance.
