Three Notch’d Brewery & Craft Kitchen is now open on northbound Route 1, just outside Rehoboth Beach.

Located in the building formerly occupied by Iron Hill Brewery, Three Notch’d Brewery was founded in 2013 and is based out of Charlottesville, Va. The Rehoboth location is the company’s eighth and celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting in late June.

Shortly before the opening of the new brewery, the company posted a message on the doors of the restaurant from Scott Roth, Three Notch’d Brewery president and founder.

“We’ve been heads down, sleeves rolled up, bringing fresh energy, bold flavors and a real passion for what we do to [Delaware]," he said. "We’re not here to simply reopen a building – we’re here to create a place people want to come back to time and time again. Rehoboth Beach isn’t just any beach town – it’s a place with history, pride and high standards – and we’re excited to earn our place in it. Expect great beer, great food and a place where paths are meant to cross.”

Iron Hill Brewery’s Rehoboth location opened in late May 2018 and was one of the first businesses in the Coastal Station development. That brewery/restaurant closed in September 2025.
