The wind stayed, but a thick cloud of fog burned off just in time for the annual Beach Goes Red, White and Blue, sponsored by Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce and USO Delaware. Hosted June 8 at the Bandstand in Rehoboth, the fourth annual event is a celebration of local police departments, state police, branches of the military and veterans. Visitors milled about, performers filled the air with patriotic tunes, and veterans and police happily showed off current technology.
