Accent on Travel founder and President Annette Stellhorn has accepted an invitation to serve on the Wellness Tourism Association’s Leadership Council as chair of its Cruise and Yacht Committee.

The association is a global network of destinations, hotels, tour operators, travel advisors and partners dedicated to advancing wellness tourism. It works to establish shared definitions, encourage collaboration, educate industry professionals and support well-being through travel. 

Stellhorn brings extensive firsthand cruise experience to the role. She has been a leader in the travel profession since 1989, visited 135 countries and sailed on 144 cruises aboard 97 different ships. Her experience spans planning personalized journeys and exploring how travel can support well-being. 

“I’m honored to serve alongside fellow leaders in wellness tourism,” said Stellhorn. “Cruising offers travelers many ways to focus on their well-being while discovering the world, and I look forward to contributing my experience to the committee’s work.”
