Tree planted at Kids’ Day at the Lewes farmers market

For the third year in a row, a tree was planted as part of Kids’ Day at the Historic Lewes Farmers Market July 20.
The blistering conditions didn’t deter a handful of kids from picking up a shovel and surrounding a young tree with dirt.
The farmers market runs from 8 a.m. to noon, every Saturday from early May to late September. To learn more, go to historiclewesfarmersmarket.com.
