Twin Branch Winery is celebrating two recent honors from the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association, earning recognition for two of its locally produced wines.
Marking an exciting achievement for the growing Milton winery and its winemaking program, Twin Branch received a silver medal for its Whitney Chardonnay and a bronze medal for its Twisted Light Rosé.
The awards are a testament to the entire Twin Branch Winery team and especially for winemaker and Vineyard Manager Austin Albright, whose dedication to the vineyard and winemaking process continues to shape the wines served in the tasting room.
“We are incredibly proud of Austin and all of the hard work that goes into every bottle,” said Katie Hart, general manager. “From caring for the vineyard throughout the year to harvest and the winemaking process itself, there is so much time, patience and passion behind each wine. To see Whitney Chardonnay and Twisted Light Rosé recognized with these awards is something we are very excited to celebrate.”
The Whitney is a stainless-steel Chardonnay with a bright, approachable style. Twisted Light is made from 100% Sangiovese, resulting in a fresh and distinctive rosé that has become a favorite among Twin Branch guests.
The recognition comes following another busy growing and harvest season at Twin Branch Winery. Despite challenging weather conditions throughout the year, the winery enjoyed a successful harvest with the help of its team and community volunteers. Albright is now busy in the cellar working on future releases for guests to enjoy.
