Two men sought in July 24 Dewey Beach fight

Dewey police are searching for information on two men who were involved in a July 24 fight in which a Dewey Beach police officer was injured.

The officer had responded to the scene of a disorderly individual when he was punched and knocked out, police said. Brandon T. Lewis, 27, of Georgetown faces felony assault charges in connection with the fight, but police are searching for two others.

The first man is described as black, 25-30 years old, 5-foot-6 inches to 5-foot-9-inches tall, a thin build, with black hair, short dreadlocks, facial hair, and wearing a black ball cap, black-and-gray T-shirt, black gym shorts with a white logo, gray sneakers, white socks, and a watch on the left wrist. The second man is described as black, 25-30 years old, 6-foot to 6-foot-3-inches tall, 200 to 210 pounds, with short hair, a goatee, and wearing a gray Nike sweatshirt, gray Nike sweat shorts, white sneakers, and a navy blue NY Yankees ball cap.
