Two Worcester Prep student-athletes sign letters of intent

Two Worcester Preparatory School senior student-athletes, Myranda Beebe of Rehoboth Beach and Brice Richins of Berlin, Md., signed their letters of intent to play sports in college. Beebe signed to play Division III women's ;acrosse at Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania, while Richens signed to play Division I men’s lacrosse at High Point University in North Carolina, where he received an athletic scholarship.

Beebe and Richins are both standout student-athletes who were honored in a ceremony at the school surrounded by their family, friends, coaches and administrators. Beebe earned a spot on the WPS Head of School List throughout her Upper School years at WPS and is a member of the Charles R. Jenkins Chapter National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. In addition to playing lacrosse, Beebe has also excelled on the girls’ basketball and soccer teams. Myranda is the daughter of Patrick and Tammy Beebe.

Richins also holds a spot on the WPS Head of School List in his Upper School years and is a member of the Charles R. Jenkins Chapter National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society. As well as playing lacrosse, Richins has also shown talent on the boys’ basketball and soccer teams. Richins is the son of Gary and Kimberly Richins, and younger brother to Cooper (WPS ’19) and Wyatt Richins (’16).
