UD scientist Chris Petrone visits H.O.B. fourth grade class

H.O. Brittingham Elementary School teacher Chrissie Maughn’s fourth-graders had a special Zoom guest May 4.
Chris Petrone from the University of Delaware College of Earth, Ocean and Environment in Lewes shared information about the state's marine animals and was able to connect his knowledge to the fourth-grade remote learning curriculum standards.
Petrone discussed horseshoe crab adaptations and life span, where it lives in the water and more. He participated with all of Maughan's reading groups throughout the day.
