Vernon A. Wegner, owned Milton store

Vernon A. Wegner, 86, of Milford passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, April 4, 2020. Vernon was born in Jefferson, Wis., son of the late Gustav and Wilomena (Radloff) Wegner. 

Vernon was the owner of Vern’s Used Furniture in Milton. In his free time, he loved stock car racing, baseball, and football. 

In addition to his parents, Vernon is preceded in death by his wife, Corlin Wegner; and his brother, Elmer Wegner.  He is survived by his sons, Vernon Wegner Jr., Donald Wegner, Daryl Wegner, and Thomas Wegner; his daughters, Veronica Wegner, Karen Wegner and Cathy Wegner; 16 grandchildren; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Due to the gathering restrictions set forth during the pandemic, services and burial will be private.
