Veterans United Outreach donates supplies, gift cards

Veterans United Outreach of Delaware President Mike Snyder, along with volunteers Destiny Haywood and Amy Snyder-Haywood, delivered $500 in supplies April 3 to Warriors Helping Warriors Brian Conley Veteran Resiliency Center in Middletown.

The facility is an educational, counseling, and residential center for veterans and their families to receive support while reintegrating into society after active duty. Simultaneously, Outreach team member Lewin (Smoke) Steele delivered $500 in gift cards for needed supplies to Victory Village in Middletown. Victory Village provides a homelike environment, and offers personal and professional services designed to help all veterans.

Veterans United Outreach of Delaware Inc. is a nonprofit program that reaches out to veterans on educational, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. The outreach mobile education unit travels to community and veteran events across the state providing benefit and support information to Delaware vets and their families.
