The members of the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 1105, would like to acknowledge the generosity and hospitality of Alex Pires in allowing us to conduct a fundraiser at his Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach July 18.
The event was an absolute and total success for us and will allow our organization to directly help our fellow Sussex County Vietnam veterans and their immediate families. We will also channel several significant donations to other charitable organizations, which focus on initiatives benefitting Vietnam veterans’ interests and contribute to their welfare.
Thank you, Alex, for a well run, successful event, and allowing the use of your facility. It was both enjoyable and productive for our participating members, who were Tom Haslam, Dan Tidwell, Patrick Moonan, John Gossart Jr., Joseph Forrester, Edward Haggerty, George Stone, Kenneth White, John Pauling, Bruce Graber, and myself, Rodger Rose.
